A Basic Statement About Us |
The Lander Church of Christ exists to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ, involve them in the fellowship of believers, and help develop their faith so they can effectively worship God and serve in His kingdom. What do we believe? Our purpose: to honor God with lives wholly devoted to him.

Basic Beliefs that anchor us together: |

The church in Lander has been under an eldership since 1999. In the fall of 2009, health issues and job commitments led to the eldership being dissolved. The church desires that elders once again be installed as soon as possible. Until then, the men of the congregation are assuming the role as overseers and leaders.
The church in Lander is very diverse. Our congregation's attendance averages anywhere from 80-100 every Sunday and the mid 50s-60s on any given Wednesday. Our congregation is mostly white Caucasian, with the ages of members ranging from young couples or singles in their 20s to retired couples or singles in their 70s and 80s.
Lander's youth group averages 8-12 in number, from junior high-age through high school. We have younger children ranging from cradle roll through 6th grade. We also have young couples both with and without children, as well as couples whose children have long since grown up and moved away.
We are also very diversified in the occupations of our members.
